Experiences of Library Professionals on DSpace Installation

DSpace, a free and open-source software (FOSS) provides the digital platform for building collections of an institution. Due to lack skills install configure librarians are incapable conduct it even after awareness about it. Identifying challenges DSpace installation is vital increase its use by librarians. Two groups distinguishing each other: one with science background another computer engineering background. The second group aswas self-sustained once they got guidelines installation. Their views reflected code terms status, exploration, feeling, activities, preferences, inadequacy. Through experiences, less experience using command line in use, unavailability teaching courses Linux operating system Library Information Science (LIS) education, self-exploration habits.
